Anyway- its all about balance. At work, in the gym, on Facebook and twitter I always see people use "I don't have enough time for that" or "I am too tired to do that" but in reality if its something you really want to do, then you will find time. Running/biking/swimming/and yard-work are all hobbies that I love. And hobbies, my friends, are the secret to life (along with coffee). Without hobbies, I'm pretty sure it would be impossible to utilize the full potential of Happiness in your soul. Just thinking out loud.
This weeks goal was to just train with a good amount of volume and a couple of intensity workouts for each discipline. Nothing too strenuous but enough to make my heart rate avg. 189 on one workout. I am finding a good rhythm when I swim at lunch time. I am able to have better/proper recovery that way from my morning bike/run sessions. It is definitely harder to recover, or more like, your body needs more time to recover from a run workout as oppose to a swim workout. A lot less pounding on your joints and more friendly to your Lactate depletion Total per workout (getting nerdy).
So after this week, I am most definitely pumped. I am accident free. Strepp free. Influenza A free. But not Tax Season free yet :/
Ok. Talk to you next Sunday....I might have some product reviews during the week but those might be boring (as if this read wasn't) so I wont post them on fbook or twitter. UP to you if you want to read them.
Over and out.
|Met the guys at the coffee shop during my long bike ride today. They of course make fun of my Peppermint Mocha drink but it did the job. #Amped|
